13 Dec We are currently recruiting governors
We would be delighted to hear from members of our community who are keen to make a difference to our students and staff.
The Local Academy Governing Board at The RSA Academy, Tipton, is currently seeking individuals with connections to the local community, or a particular specialism that would complement the skills currently on the board, to join the board as a governor.
We are looking for thoughtful, enthusiastic colleagues with excellent communication skills to join us. The ideal person will have a strong interest in education and in ensuring the very best outcomes for children and young people but does need not have direct experience of working in education. [We are particularly keen to identify governors with particular skills in health and safety, community engagement or with strong local business connections].
Governors are likely to be at meetings three or four times each term, with the full Local Academy Governing Board meetings taking place from 8.00am to 11.30am at the academy.
We are part of the Central RSA Academies Trust. As a governor, within the Trust, we will ensure that you receive an excellent induction with training and support throughout your time as a governor; it is a very rewarding role.
