We try to ensure that we use the freshest ingredients from our locally sourced suppliers, as this is an important element to providing the highest quality meals. All of the meat we use in our menus is sourced from British farms and has Assured Food Standards Red Tractor certification.
We have again achieved a 5* star hygiene rating – March 2018 – as well as receiving an award for Independent School Caterer of the Year 2013.
Cashless Catering System
Our cashless system recognises each individual pupil. Once the swipe card is placed on a card reader, key information can be seen by the catering staff. Each pupil’s card holds individual cash balances; records of cash spent and cash received, which monitors money spent on food for any specific date and time of day.
Main benefits
- Convenient way of paying for Academy meals, no more looking for change every morning.
- Discourages the misuse of dinner money through spending in shops outside of the Academy grounds.
- Alleviates many of associated problems with the use of cash in schools. i.e.: Loss, theft and bullying.
- Healthy eating is encouraged.
- Queuing times are reduced through increased speed of service.
- Automatic free meal allocation with the pupil remains anonymous.
School Gateway
You can now make payments to school via credit/debit card or bank transfer.
This means that you will be able to make online payments via the School Gateway smartphone app or website. You will also be able to view school meal balances and top them up at any time.
We will notify you by text or email when new items such as trips or tickets for events are available for payment on School Gateway. You will also be able to give online consent, where required, for your child to take part in activities.
Aside from saving the academy time and money on administration, School Gateway will also make it easier for parents to pay any time 24-7 and reduce the amount of cash being carried by children on the academy premises.

Activate your School Gateway account. It’s quick and easy to do. All you need are your email address and mobile number that the Academy holds on record for you.

Or
Visit the website: www.schoolgateway.com and click on ‘New User’. You’ll receive a text message with a PIN number. Use this PIN to log into School Gateway.
