17 Dec Spanish Trip
On Thursday 13th December, students studying GCSE Spanish had the opportunity to immerse themselves in authentic Spanish culture with a trip to the popular, Spanish restaurant, Amantia in Birmingham.
The group tasted various tapas dishes from ‘patatas bravas’ and ‘chorizo’ to ‘albondigas’ and ‘croquetas de jamon’. After lining their stomachs, the group took to the dance floor with a workshop delivered by the restaurant’s owner in the ‘Sevillana’ style of dance, one similar to Flamenco, often performed during ‘La Feria’ in Seville.
