Bollywood comes to Tipton!

We have had a very exciting visitor at the Academy during the course of last week. Subhash Gorania, a well-known Bollywood dancer, choreographer and winner of the numerous dance competitions in Mumbai, has been working with our Year 12 IB dancers to prepare for the forthcoming ‘Bollywood 100’ celebrations in Birmingham during June.

The RSA Academy firmly believes that the suite of programmes developed by the International Baccalaureate (IB) provides Post-16 students with the best possible preparation for the next stage of their lives – whether that is into university or a career. Over the last 12 months we have been working closely with the IB to help them establish one of their newest programmes – the International Baccalaureate Career related Certificate (IBCC). This is a high quality qualification which expertly blends academic and vocational learning into one internationally recognised qualification.
Over the last few months we have hosted visits from schools in Dubai, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland as well as from across England. Not only have they have all been impressed by the quality of the courses on offer at the Academy but our students have also made a huge impression – their mature approach to their work together with their enthusiasm for learning!
