Creative winners!

A couple of weeks ago we reported on the success of two groups of students who had progressed to the finals of the I AM CREATIVE competition sponsored by Aviva.The challenge was to design an app which would encourage young people to save. The final was on Thursday, last week, at Aviva’s head office in the city of London. Both groups of students presented very effectively and with great conviction.

Mrs Batra and Miss Humpage, who accompanied the students, were absolutely delighted when the winners were announced – our girls’ team! The girls have won £200 of vouchers to share together with a week’s placement in a creative media agency. The presentation wasmade by the Rt Honourable Ed Vaizey, Minister for Culture, Communication and Creative Industries.

The boys also did extremely well and were very unlucky to miss out on the prizes. All the students had a fantastic day in London and had an experience that they will remember for a long time!
