Bollywood comes to Tipton!

We have had a very exciting visitor at the Academy during the course of last week. Subhash Gorania, a well-known Bollywood dancer, choreographer and winner of the numerous dance competitions in Mumbai, has been working with our Year 12 IB dancers to prepare for the forthcoming ‘Bollywood 100’ celebrations in Birmingham during June.

Clothing Assistance Forms are now available

Clothing Assistance Forms are now available from Miss Gibbons. If you meet the criteria you could claim up to £25 in Clothing Vouchers per child to spend at our uniform suppliers and at Asda, Great Bridge.

Do you qualify? These are the criteria:

Income Support
Job Seekers Allowance
Employment and support allowance
Guaranteed Pension Credit
Support under section VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
Child Tax Credit, with an annual income of less than £16,190.

Are you currently registered for Free School Meals? If the answer is ‘no’ but you are in receipt of any of the benefits listed above, a Free School Meal application will also be generated.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANYONE IN RECEIPT OF WORKING TAX CREDIT WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR CLOTHING ASSISTANCE.
