An evening to celebrate!

The RSA Sports Awards kicked off the awards season in style on Thursday 28th June. As staff dressed to impress it was the talent, dedication and commitment of our students that shone through on the night. Students were nominated by PE and Dance staff, which was not an easy process due to the depth of talent RSA students show on a daily basis. Commitment and dedication both inside and outside of the academy were rewarded with 80 students ranging from year 7 to year 12 receiving their awards in the Theatre in front of very proud parents and staff!
This was truly a team effort with Hospitality and Catering students providing canapés and interval snacks with the help of Mrs Jones, Miss Aldritt and Mrs Roberts. The trophies were made by talented graphic design students and Mr C Smith. Many thanks to all involved.
Congratulations to all winners and runners up in all categories….now let’s kick on to next season and hope that it is at least as good, if not better, than this year!

Hi, couldn’t see a photo of Grace, i presume it was one of the dark ones. If you do have a decent copy though I would love one.
